I haven't been on here for a very, very long time. Life has just been crazy busy - even before COVID19 but particularly in the last couple of months of course - and I haven't had the time to come on here.
I hope that all of you are doing okay under these difficult circumstances of global pandemic.
I would like to share with you that my book "When To Love Means To Let Go" is now available on Kindle and Amazon. It should be available in the US already but, if not, you will be able to get it there soon, they told me it might take a couple of days until the book is available in all markets. It is the book about true love, about soul-connection, about being a sole carer for my husband Paul when he had terminal cancer, about when to love meant to let go and about what I have learned in my bereavement. I am hoping that this book will be of help to many.
Love, Mel.

Awesome Melanie.. I’ll get the book .. Lord knows we all need to be able to let go!❤️
Well, yes, I imagine you are right in saying that there are many new members here who don't know about our story. So, just to say it briefly, my husband Paul passed away in May of 2018 after a 15-year long battle with advanced prostate cancer. In the last 10 months of his life. My Paul was a wonderful man. And, while he trusted his oncologists and only them, I always felt that I wanted to find out as much as possible about his cancer to be as knowledgeable as possible and, hopefully, be able to find new and different ways of treating and fighting his cancer. This is why, in early 2017, I joined this forum to connect with other men with prostate cancer and their spouses and, over the months, learned a lot from other members and shared a lot of our experience too. The book "When To Love Means To Let Go" is my account of our true love and deep soul-connection, my time as Paul's sole carer and what I learned from that, the time when it was time to let him go, and the time after his death and what I have learned so far in my bereavement. It was so important to me to write this book and my deepest hope is that it will be of help to many, sufferers and relatives or friends alike. You can still read our story on the site here, even though I could not tell you how, but I would imagine you can go to our posts under MelaniePaul.
Hi Melanie- I have been waiting for this book to be available in the US and it is now available on Amazon. As a caregiver and companion to my husband, while we are in fight mode now, I know that, pending a miracle, letting go will at some point be an essential part of our journey. Thank you for sharing your experience and I look forward to learning from someone who has been down this path.
Hi there, I am so happy that the book has finally become available in the states and I hope it will be of help to you and your husband. I would also be very grateful if you could leave a review on the Amazon page. Thank you and my best wishes to you and your husband.
