Hello This is my first post. We are going to be receiving our 4th Xofigo treatment. Can anyone fill us in as to what happens from here? We just had a scan. Still no Mets in the soft tissue just the bones. We would just appreciate some honesty. Should we be looking to go to Germany for treat with LU177? Diagnosis at age 55 now 62.

What other treatments have you had ? A little history would be helpful.

He had a prostatectomy, Lupron shots, still on, radiation to pelvic areas, radiation to bone Mets, Zytiga with prednisone, now on Xofigo 4th infusion Friday. No cancer in soft tissue just bone

Sounds like his bone mets are being hit hard. When is his next bone scan? That should tell you how well he is doing with xofigo. Then you can look to his next step.

You should be looking at two more treatments - there are usually 6. Discuss adding Provenge - the two may be synergistic.

Please provide us with more info regarding your dear Husband. Location? Scores PSA/Gleason? Treatments to date? Treatment locations? Doctor's name(s)?. All info is voluntary but it helps us help him and helps us too. Thank You!

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

I have advanced PC, Gleason 9, diagnosed terminal..I got into the (Vision) trial (LU-177) 6 rounds and it did work very well for 5 or 6 months driving my PSA down from 2400 to 135.. But then it started climbing again, now 685....Lu-177 works well in many men but in my case at least, no long term remission...It's also a powerful Beta particle emitter so it does have its side-effects.. R-223 can work well on bone mets, it's an Alfa emitter so side effects are usually moderate...
