I recently saw a post reply that gave a link to find reduced costs for Xtandi. Thought I had saved it but no find.
Does anyone know of procedures to obtain Xtandi at a reduced cost? My PSA now spiking up and I am in the process of getting my first prescription now to add to my Leupron therapy of the last 2 years. I am not sure what exactly my co-pay is likely to be yet.
My insurance is United Healthcare. I'm in California. No way I can absorb the likely monthly cost on fixed SS income.

Hello Jill, I don't think you or your husband posted here alot. I am terribly sorry that your Husband passed away recently. I wish to offer my (and the group's) sincere condelences. I hope he did not suffer and that you (and your family) are able to handle the pain and sorrow that death brings...May your dear Husband rest in Peace and may he remain in you heart forever. Thank you for the offer on the bottle of Xandi. Please stay with us, we need members like you........
Thank you. I didn’t post but I read every day for a very long time. He really did not suffer and was very surprised when he was told he was dying 3 weeks before he did. He was always very optimistic. He had so many hobbies and friends and things to do he didn’t give it much thought. I did though, I was always hoping for a magical cure.
2dee, I am on Xtandi here in CA. Retired and getting Medicare. Health plan, Contra Costa health. Current income being retired was such that I get both Medicare B and D for no cost. Copays on drugs are also picked up on as well as any medical procedures. Might be Medi-Cal picking that up. I pay only $3,80 per month for Xtandi.
You need to check with hospital and MediCal to see what help is available.
I am due to start Xtandi this week. Got a grant from PAN Foundation to cover the copay for the first order. Looking for other sources for financial help. Hope it works for you and me.
