Whoa Racer! I lost 35 lbs my first few months during treatments. I had sarcopenia and now osteopenia from 5 yrs of adt . I’m shocked by cachexia . Never heard of it before. What does your doctor say ??? Whatever this a brutal thing. I pray that you can escape this soon. 🙏🙏🙏

Get evaluation for clinical depression ...if you have enough depression symptoms , ask your doctor to prescribe REMERON (Mirtazapine) which is an anti depressant medicine and causes weight gain.

If you want weight gain real fast by stimulating appetite, there is a medicine called PERIACTIN (cyproheptadine) It used to be over the counter for common cold years ago. Talk to your doctor about these meds...I hope he knows about these meds as these are older meds.

My husband was losing weight and we discovered he had Graves’ disease which is hypothyroidism, Have them run thyroid tests.
