There is news today from the University of Texas Health San Antonio on testing Nexrutine (tree bark extract) and prostate cancer in mice. The study shows good results.
Thank you Tango65. The link you provided shows reports going back quite a while. It does not appear that human trials of the effectiveness of the supplement have been done.
Because of much I've read about, mostly from Jane McClelland, I've been taking Berberine for about a month now. I take it with Metformin, before breakfast and dinner. I've had MPC since late 2016 and taken Metformin about as lone. I had just started Zytiga in July 2019 when radiation treatment to my thoracic spine also got my heart and I developed AFIB (radiation induced neuropathy). Stopped Zytiga, got a PSA bounce (I believe referred to as Abiraterone Withdrawal Syndrome) down to under 1, but with ADT gradually (5 months) my PSA has been steadily increasing until last week's reading of 21. Started Zytiga again two days ago (AFIB mostly gone). Not enough time to see if Berberine is helping yet. I'll keep things posted.
Hi, Is Jane McClelland a person who is versed in Pca? I have never heard of her and would like to pick her brain. Can you give me contact information? Thanks
