Hard to see in photo but noticed a large lump in my leg behind knee. About 1cm wide and 4cm long. Behind joint, looks dark almost like a bruise.
Could it be Lymph nodes, should I see a Doctor ASAP or can it wait until Tuesday, I have hospital appointment with pain specialist?
"The popliteal lymph nodes, small in size and some six or seven in number, are embedded in the fat contained in the popliteal fossa, sometimes referred to as the 'knee pit'." [1]
But you need to rule out a blood clot ASAP.

Thanks, I sent pic to Doctor friend, she thinks it's likely a 'Bakers Cyst' and can wait until Tuesday.
As I have no experience of these Cyst's, I'm wondering if it is because if it's excess fluid from the knee leaking out I would think it would be much softer to touch, this is rock solid. I'll know for sure on Tuesday.
I saw hundreds in my practice ....(sports chiropractor) however in our shape we tend to wonder any health issue may be related to PC..Natural....but I would caution searching for a dx on line...we do not have access to physical exam, labs, or imaging studies if necessary..good luck
It wasn't so much looking for a diagnosis, more a question of, is it something needing immediate attention or can it wait until Tuesdays appointment.
As you pointed out, anything unusual happens to our bodies, our imaginations go into overtime. Having stage 4 Gleason 9, waiting till it's too late makes me some what over cautious now.
What did you find out about your dental X-rays , btw ?
