Where is the off/on switch

Several weeks ago we decided it was new washer/dryer time. I went online with several of the companies with both big box and significant online presence.

It was one of those times. I could not even determine how to come close to purchasing my products on two sites.

Finally I made it to the Home Depot page. With much effort I made it to the “Purchase” page. Everything was fine except for the delivery date. Thinking a little multitasking was in order I placed a phone call. Listened to occasional bad music and Home Depot ads for around twenty minutes. After about 20 more minutes the representative convinced me that I wasn’t getting an earlier delivery. Wish I remembered what I said. Maybe I don’t want to remember.

This past weekend I decided to check everything out for this weeks delivery. My brain was working fairly well, and I discovered one remaining problem:

When attempting to do this several weeks ago, I had failed to click on the damn purchase now button.

That was a critical error. Don’t know nor remember why I did this. Little brain function is my answer. Lupron brain.

It’s all well now, but this loss of cognitive skills drives me nuts.

Any supplements or dietary changes been discovered to lessen this problem? It can and does happen in situations where embarrassment becomes an issue. Almost as bad as what all this crap does to sex.

There are times my wish is to have a brain. (The Scarecrow)

Now to pay for the washer/dryer. May have to take a Zytiga holiday for awhile.

I’ve got a really good memory, It’s just short!!!

Sooooo much to say.... soooo many examples.... but, no advice.

You’ll find that you are far from alone here and I’m one that shares your frustration.

The worst part for me is I can see how stupid I’ve become!!!

Either preparing to do something or in the middle of, I get into a bind (just draw a blank) and say to myself “think... you got this... think” then end up throwing the tools across the room in frustration. I don’t even dare to multitask.... something will surely not get tightened, excluded, etc!

I have worn out the line “why did I do that” and my wife has limited my chores / activities due to errors and omissions.

With you W&D example, I gave up with stuff like that a while ago and with out my wife, I’d be virtually lost!!! And this is the good news!!!

The bad news is that while being off ADT for about a year, some of the SE’s are gone (list too long to post again) except for the cognitive / executive decline. A few months ago my verbal agility took a hit and now I even get to sound stupid. If I can remember what to say, I forget words or mis-use them in the middle of a sentence. Of course, thats if I recognize you to begin with.

Yes...... been tested and tested but with no baseline, I am in a waiting period to see if there is any change about a year out.

I’ll stop now. I could write a novel with all I can vent about. What I was verses what I’ve become!!!!

Best of luck
