Retzius-sparing prostatectomy has been associated with early return of urinary continence in small series. The authors of this study compared outcomes between 713 Retzius-sparing and 1150 conventional robotic-assisted prostatectomies. After propensity matching, there was a significant difference in complete urinary continence at 6 months using the Retzius-sparing technique (98% vs 77%).

These data support the assertion that a Retzius-sparing technique provides earlier return of continence. While these data do not evaluate long-term urinary continence rates nor do they address oncological outcomes, urologists should consider incorporating this technique into their practice. This study was performed by a high-volume single surgeon and results may vary among surgeons attempting this technique.

I considered it before deciding, but didn't opt for it. In Europe I found one surgeon in the UK and a second somewhere (don't remember any more) in the Continent.
