Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving. I'm grateful to still be in the fight for over 5 yrs. I cooked at my nephew's house.

Off to Hawaii to see Ohana (family)on Thursday. Eat local foods and then do the HNL marathon on 12/08.

12/06 I have a phone MO appt and will discuss my options with PSA rising to 9.1 with T at 13

My best to y'all

Fight on

Randy

Yes, it was a high-fat diet -60% fat!

And the fat was lard! When was the last time anyone here ate a meal that 60% lard? Let alone every meal.

"we compared mice that overexpress a human c-MYC transgene (MYC) in the prostate epithelium21 to wild-type littermates"

Those mice had the deck stacked against them.

"At 12 weeks of age, MYC over expression, irrespectively of {high-fat diet}, resulted in extensive cellular epithelium transformation to prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) ..."

"No presence of PIN was detected in the prostate lobes of {wild-type} animals fed a {high-fat diet}" (Don't blame the lard! LOL)

So a 60% lard diet is quite OK if MYC is not overexpressed.

What credence can we give a mouse study that makes no attempt to mimic a real-world situation?

I understand you went to see your shrink looking like your picture. When the shrink asked you "Can I help you sir" The turkey said "Yes doctor, can you get this guy off my ass".......

Have a good run.... Aloha
