Super-Sensitive Scanner Gives Cancer Survivors Confidence

This was on a local TV station here in Sacramento. This new scan was just used at UC Davis for the 1st time on a breast cancer patient. Let's hope it will be useful for us guys! I am not sure what type of tracer they used.

If they used it with the PSMA tracers, may be they will be able to find metastases smaller than 4 mm and detect very early if the cancer has left the prostate before doing any treatment. Let's hope for the best, but the main problem is going to be the cost of the equipment
