Just had my 2nd year scans, no new lesions, psa at 1.6, improvement in the lesions and some are gone, still on lupron. Still doing the diet things, no red meat for 6 weeks and walkING 3000 to 4000 steps 6 times a week. Onward with ghe fight against the evil disease of cancer.

Hi,

What location you're at, the reason I asked is because your treatment is just Lupron? Why not on Zytiga as well?

I've stopped eating red meats 20 years ago, but still got tagged with PCa, 9 months ago. Our biology is just extremely complex, and eating foods that are non-GMO in industrial nations is impossible.

So, if we've moved to Nepal as teens, would we have PCa today, who knows...

I asked about additional meds but it dropped from 1.8 to 1.6, was .6 before, scans were good so probably tgat is why. My next shot is in 6 weeks and psa will be tested again and go from there. The bone scan showed some lesions disappeared and others shrank so that is another factor.

I've read your profile, and some posts, awesome cat, my Aussie dog stays away from them. So, your PSA 156 was at diagnosis, went down to .6, then up to 1.6 recently, is this correct?

Yes but no cancer n my scans, will see what the next visit brings, I have been getting 10 hot flashes a day.

How many pills of the zytiga or generic do you take, the costs are high on my insurance plan ?

Probably no PCa. On the other hand, you would probably be camel herders.

That's awesome. Happy to hear stories of scans improving after years of treatment. Can't say enough good things about exercise, keep it up!

My brother is going through 13 rounds over 39 weeks, it spread to the lymph nodes and colon, they found traces of blood in stool and had to have a colonoscopy , fo not know yet how tgat turned out. I take ghe fit test every year and the yearly scans would show any tumors.
