Dr. Jason Fung, Nephrologist. Some of you might find his videos and writings worthwhile. Not specific to prostate, but cancer and diabetes.

It was interesting. But some of the comments did not make sense..

"A national survey in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2007 shows that 94% of physicians had ties to the pharmaceutical industry" - what does this mean ? what are the ties ? Does this mean that a drug rep bought sandwiches for the office staff ? Most doctors are corporate employees.. the private practices are fading away. I have a hard time blaming corporate employees.

Thanks for posting. It was a good read!

sending you and yours hugs, prayers and love!

I suggest you seek evidence on your own, perhaps this site projects.propublica.org/doc... - can assist, but obviously they must have an agenda.

Assemble info, use your instincts to filter real info...

Also, I wonder, can Nephrologist's use the same kidney dialysis machines to filter out prostate cancer cells? Imagine the machine could detect and filter prostate cancer biomarkers, like filtering the blood toxins for chronic kidney failure patients.

I have viewed a couple of Dr. Fung’s presentations and I have found him to be very credible. His talks have encouraged me to investigate diets and intermittent fasting in more detail. In fact, I recently started to eating only two (good) meals a day 8 hours apart and was surprised to find that it is quite doable manageable. Also losing weight slowly and feeling better. I believe fellow brothers on ATT should watch Fung’s many talks and consider intermittent fasting. Cheers, Phil

My husband and I are doing the same thing. Fasting from 8 pm to 12 noon or even 2 pm and eat nutritionally dense food in two meals from 2-8pm. In a month he's lost about three pounds. Very doable. Doing our best to eat a keto diet. We both feel better. The first week was hard though.

Excellent. I have found the simplicity and apparent effectiveness of intermittent fasting truly surprising. One saves time, spend less on food, feel better, lose weight and have a sharper mind. Every patient on ADT should consider trying this method of dieting. Cheers, Phil
