It's been 3 weeks now since I completed 6th Docetaxel, I've had some nerve tremors in hands and feet, the feet have totally cleared up and the hands are improving daily but my right side below my Ribs I feeling continuous twitching/pulsing which I assume is either my Liver or maybe hepatic artery or the portal vein. I have mentioned this to Oncologist including bad pain in right side of Ribs (assuming it's Mets) which I asked if it was possible for Radiation treatment but he said my whole skeleton has Mets and nothing to specifically target.
I'm due for another Pet scan and will see the Oncologist 1st Aug but it's concerning me slightly, anyone else had similar experiences?

"Twitching" sounds like a muscle or nerve problem. I'd expect a liver problem to result in pain or tenderness ("not a doctor" disclaimers apply). Are your liver enzymes elevated in your blood work?
When you say 3 weeks since completing docetaxel, do you mean since your last infusion? My experience was that I got another wave of side effects right around this time, right on schedule as if I had another infusion. After that passed, that's when things started improving dramatically.
My advice (which was basically the nurse practitioner's advice to me), is to wait another month and see how things resolve. I was very hyper-aware of every symptom and side effect after finishing chemo. Now, a month later, things are much better and the problems that remain don't bother me as much because I'm just thrilled to be doing things I couldn't do for months and used to fret about not being able to do ever again.
Doce can cause Nuropathy in the hands and feet which if severe can be ugly. If you get a 100% recovery you are doing well.. If you are thinking that radiation might be useful, visit with a Radiation Oncologist..RO's and MO's seldom see eye to eye...Today's new radiation treatments are light-years ahead of where they were just a few years ago.. What's your PSA history during the chemo treatments ? If your mets are confined to your bones, take a look at R-123 or an Lu-177 trial like "Vision"..
No trials available where I live, it was the first thing I asked. Mets are very bad, extensive into the Marrow in both Femurs and very little pain there now but my Ribs are a different story.
Look into Radium-223 also called Xofigo. Talk to a R.O. about it. It's an approved treatment, not hard to get..If you have bone pain, they can address it directly using "Cyberknife" (SBRT) Five treatments, you're done..
You're fortunate to have these twitches clear up to rapidly. I'm over a year past my chemo and still have the neuropathy in my legs. Gets pretty bad sometimes. I'm often sore on my right side near the hip. The doctor says, "Oh, that's your liver." lol Thanks doc. I wondered what that was. Blood work is good though, so I remain in the pleasant company of my comrades here on HU.
Last couple of days pain has spiked, Ribs, lower back, and my legs again, I got delivery of some CBD oil yesterday and hope this helps. I'm due to have my ADT injection Wed and I will try and talk to someone at the Hospital about this increase in pain. My wife is booking a pain specialist but it will be several weeks before I get an appointment.
