Hi, my husband will soon be getting his first Lu-177 treatment, is there anyone in the US getting this treatment and if so where are you having your scan? We are traveling to Indiana for the scan, but having the infusions here in Pa.

Any information would be appreciated

Thank you, Lynn/caregiver

Are you in the "Vision" trial, NCT03511664 ? ? The sponsor, Novartis, should should arrange for and pay for any scans required once you have been enrolled as a participant..

Hi, Just wondering how you made out with the scan and infusions so far. My husband has not yet gone for the PSMA scan in Indiana, but soon. Would like to know how long the scan took and what all was involved, also

After the infusions do you know if you have to return to Indiana for another scan, or does a regular ct scan show of the treatment is working?? Hope so,we are in Philadelphia and won't be happy about traveling back and forth to Indiana foe every scan.

Thank you and the best for you and your husbsnd.

Hi...we’ll we went to Indiana. SCANS easy and quick. Came home and a few days later found that my husband does not have the required PSMA on his cells!! Very Disappointed! Now, instead, he is going on the T-cell/BATS trial. Heard of it??

Hi, thank you so much for your response. What a disappointment is right!... I did hear that not all men would qualify and I think the more PSMA surrounding the PC cells the better the results???

My husbands PSA went down this past time, so we are waiting to see his next PSA results this coming week after chemo. The dr. didn't want to enterupt the treatment If it's still working.

Such a waiting game...

I think I've heard of the treatment from some of the men on this forum, but I don't know much about it?? If you get a chance would you let me know what the treatment entails?? My husband, Sam does not have the mutations to qualify for

Immune therapy. Is that what the t-cell/BATS is.?

Thanks again and best wishes for this other trail.

Sincerely, Lynn Pa.

The trial sponsor will connect you with a travel coordinator who will arrange all your transportation. Yes, doing it all in one day should be possible or they will put you up in a nice hotel for a day..The scan involves an IV injection of the Ga-68 / PSMA compound, delivered fresh, then, quickly, into the camera room, lie down prone, get run through the big, white doughnut, the whole deal takes less than an hour..Then back to the airport (in a Town Car) or to your hotel. Painless....
