Cabergoline or Tamoxifen for Gynomastia?

Any one here tried either of these agents for gynomastia, and if so had any luck with it?

Really would like to knock down the man boobs without radiation or surgery.

Also heard these two agents may slow down osteoporosis and perhaps even PCa.

Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

I took 10 mg Tamoxifen. Sometimes 20 mg when I had the impression gynomastia may start to develop. Did this for nine months. I did have no gynomastia and noticed no side effects caused by Tamoxifen.

I also had radiation of the breast about three years ago. That did help a bit at that time but not completely. I did an adjuvant ADT for radiation back then which I stopped a long time ago.

To slow down osteoporosis you can take estradiol patches which also help with hot flushes. The body needs testosterone to make estrogens and these again are needed for your bone health.

Cabergoline is a dopamine agonist - can you show a reference for using that?

Tamoxifen is well established for this purpose.

I haven't seen anything that shows either is beneficial for osteoporosis or PCa - what have you seen?

I had radiation to the nipple area. See an RO.

I suffered badly from Gynaecomastia. They radiated both my breasts but it had no effect and eventually I had to have a bilateral mastectomy. After that no hint at all of pain or them growing back.
