Does anyone have any unusual suggestions to combat extreme tiredness post radiation treatment? I’ve tried all the usual things that worked when Lupron makes me tired but they’re not working since I started radiation. Thanks

Sometimes you just need to sleep it off. For other parts of my body, I coped with resting, but for head radiation, I really needed sleep.
I don't know what is usual.
You can try to keep up light exercise.
The best thing I know for radiation-induced fatigue is vigorous exercise, both cardiovascular and weight-bearing.
Agree with Tall Allen. I added a lot of weight lifting to my cardio workout. However, after treatment first thing in the morning I went to sleep no matter what I was doing about 3 pm. Think the exercise helped but it did not eliminate the tiredness
Stay in bed and watch cartoons....
I hope you have a Mexcellent Cinco de Mayo!

I have had 12 infusions of chemo which caused severe fatigue. I took Wisconsin American ginseng. Google Mayo Clinic to read their trial results. Maybe applicable to radiation fatigue.
Best wishes. Never Give In.

Betty Boop cartoons. Getting out of the cave and into some sunshine always helps me. Got a chair for the sun and a chair for the shade. Even a few minutes helps.
