update on Izab

Been through all treatments except lutetium 177.

We are expecting an election in OZ in May. Opposition (labor) has promised that approved cancer treatments will be subsidized on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme if they get into office which seems likely.

Come on Lutetium 177.

Lutetium 177 is already dirt cheap in Australia. LOL

You should see what things cost in US.

Lutetium is not on the PBS free list. It costs $10.000 for each treatment and 4 treatments is usual in OZ. There are trials planned at Peter Mac. Things just don't happen overnight.

Not quick enough for me unfortunately.

My treatment was $10,000 each time but now they refuse me treatment unless i go through cemo,it is a death sentence for me as i will not go there

I swear someone here was getting something psma, maybe it was just a scan, for a few hundred dollars in Australia.

The Galium 68 scan they use after each Lutetium treatment was $550 Aud but some cancer clinics here do it free & the Lutetium is still $10,000.
