Is your partner going to start LU177?

Hi Finlay66.

No, he’s doing well on Lupron and Apalutamide at the moment, but I always like to understand other treatments in case they become an option in the future. Are you considering or have started this?

Certainly considering. It doesn't look good for NHS funding though.

interesting thanks for posting

The document was published in May 2021. Maybe things have changed since then as I was released to go home shortly after injection, instead of "We will then ask you to remain in the room alone for approximately four to six hours". I did need to quarantine for 3 days, and stay away from small children and pets for at least a week.

Waiting for my 3rd dose.

Thank you for the additional information. How’s it going?

After 2 treatments PSA has gone from 98 to 14. Scans show disease is stable. Next treatment should be within next week or so.

This is really useful thank you. Is it bad in the way of side effects?

After 1st a lot of nausea, which dropped significantly after #2. Plenty of ongoing fatigue and walking difficulty.
