Lutetium in Germany or Australia
My experience was a cost of $10,000 in two payments for LU177 with Theranostics in Australia & 3 to 4 treatments needed but I do not recomend them. That is my personal opinion. In Germany the cost is more because you pay for the scan & hospital bed & naturally the travel costs. In Australia it is a day procedure & depending where you have the PET scan it is free.
Last I heard, Australia's borders are closed so you might want to check that. Wishing you the best.
apparently 2 week quarantine 3000 aud cost to government for quarantine
I went to Germany in 2016 at the Technical University of Munich and I had a very good experience. The doctors in Germany are the ones with the longest experience with this treatment. There are many centers in Munich, Heidelberg, Bonn etc. Search the forum for Lu 177 PSMA, there are several posts about treatment with Lu 177 PSMA in Germany.
The Australian borders are practically closed, you will need to contact an Australian consulate.
The previous replies are correct that the Australian borders are closed except for Australian citizens coming home. But I would still check with an Australian consulate. I have has two infusions of Lu-177 this year at iMed in Brisbane Australia with my last in April 2021. I will not be having an more infusions until my PSA increases in what the nuclear oncologists calls double time. I am being monitored quarterly.
While we all have different experiences with Lu-177 I had a good experience with my PSA reducing from 50 to 3.5 after the first and the second from 3.5 to .56. The cost of each treatment was $10,000 all inclusive. The treatment is a daily procedure and there was no overnight stay at the hospital where the procedure is performed.
Has you PSA remained stable since your last treatment? What other drugs are you now on?

I did 2 rounds of Lu177 in Wiesbaden. I had PSMA scans done at UCLA prior to going to Germany. Costs was approximately $12k-13k USD last year and the scans at UCLA were separate. In Germany you must stay in the hospital for 3 nights following the infusion.
