What is the prednisone taken for along with zytega? Also can I take supplements such as beta glucan which improves immune where prednisone suppresses. I’m so confused!

It’s only a replacement dose to replace the cortisol that the Zytiga takes away.

The recommended dose is 10 mg. My husband was told to take 5 mg in the morning and 5 mg at night. But we had to change that and give him 10 mg in the morning as otherwise he had difficulty sleeping at night.
