FOR ME (stage 4 PCa, 1303 PSA year ago), I have to say yes based on about 4 months careful experimentation.

I found that about 100mg per day CBD using tincture droppers lowers and evens out about 80% of my pain. I can finally sleep now.

Recently added about 20mg a day THC is at least helping with some specific pain other treatments haven't touched.

Still working out strength and schedule through experimentation.

I live in a recreational marijuana state and I keep a medical card active as well. here you can walk into stores and buy it off the shelf and there are over 160 delivery services that will have it at your doorstep in 15 minutes or less. there are wide selections, medical strengths and types of strains available here. I primarily eat the medications in the form of cookies and brownies. I also have a vape pen. all over the web there are articles about how cannabis suppresses the T slightly in men, either directly or indirectly. that might benefit treatments like Lupron - Xtandi and other similar treatments somewhat. definitely cannabis will help with sleep ( pick the right strain ) and I find it does very well with skeletal discomforts ( pains !!! ) too. I get the painful Zometa treatments for my cancer bone damage and cannabis is excellent for helping manage the extreme discomforts that Zometa can bring in the first few days after an infusion. also, cannabis will lift the mood in most people considerably. that has to be a good thing for people like us when we are occasionally feeling down from our situation. I've extensively tried cbd oils and had little to no success with those so far. those are my own observations related to medical cannabis, your mileage may vary considerably based upon your own physiology.

I like your upbeat posts j-o-h-n ... I think they help add a great positive element here in what can be a dark space sometimes. I'm upbeat as well ... people marvel on how I can be so upbeat, considering, but thats the way I am and I think it helps those loved ones around you too.

Thanks,

I agree... and I'm fighting two cancers... One day when I was getting fried another patient said to me "you're the happiest guy I know who's got cancer". So I replied "go fcuk yourself you son of a bachelor and piss off before I put my hand down your throat and rip out your heart" 🔫

I just love humor and I'm glad you're upbeat too... you gotta live.... (stay well).

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

y yah ah ayay a h .. funny post above. I'm located in Fresno, Central California. it is interesting how a person's perspective changes when you are in our circumstances. speaking for myself, my social perspective has changed and how I relate to a whole world of stuff is dramatically changed now too. I worked for 32 years and retired from the health care world myself. I was a Biomedical Engineer for the military at Darnall Army Hospital for nearly a decade and then moved to Fresno to supervise the biomedical activity here for a couple of decades too ( retired 23 years ago at age 49 ) . I have an underlying, skeletal wide, degenerative bone joint disease that would be my main major illness if it weren't for the PC that overshadows it. it was discovered during one of my first nuclear uptake scans with the PC. I knew I had problems for years but didn't realize how serious it was. the bone joint degeneration possibly related to my nuclear weapons work for the military before I started my technical medical career. good luck and good humor back to you j-o-h-n. I think your upbeat humor posts are very beneficial for the people that have to inhabit this kind of web activity. a little light in the darkness so to speak.
