tumour-to-tumour metastasis?

Performed an MRI of the brain last week:

"Dural-based 1.4 x 1.0 cm lesion overlying the left occipital lobe without irritation of the adjacent parenchyma. The above imaging characteristics are atypical for a meningioma..."

Stats Age:58 GS:8 Init PSA:1000+ Significant metastasis pelvic and spine, one month on Lupron (6 month shot), Casodex, Zytiga and Prednisone. No pain, just some back soreness and recent PSA:62

Have not seen much information regarding PCa metastasising to meningioma. Anyone seen anything like this? Going to see the RO soon about the meningioma and spine mets.

They are saying that the lesion is probably not meningioma (benign). Hopefully, the RO will be able to shrink it with SBRT.

We don't know that, so they want to get a biopsy first and deal with it fast. Extremely rare that the PCa metastasis caused this, so it may just be an unrelated...

Had a visit with a neurosurgeon, looked at the images and said no worries! We'll perform a follow up MRI in 3 months and compare.

Going to get a spine biopsy in a few days, numerous thoracic and lumbar mets, MO is wondering why I'm not having pain.

God Bless!!!
