Dr. Grado also performed my husband’s brachytherapy which failed shortly afterwards and became metastatic to lungs.
I guess we waited too long for the brachy as Dr. Grado had recommended it years earlier when my husband had his 36 days of EBRT. We went with his colleague’s advice against brachy as she felt the SBRT was enough. It wasn’t. She also injected husband with Lupron ahead of the eventual brachy which masked the poor results. Big regrets in our 18 year pCa decision making history.
We enjoyed Dr. Grado but were totally frustrated dealing with the office.
