Daily Feverish Feel with slight chills~~I've had for a while. Is this normal? Stage 4, PSA 0.8

It seems like at least once a day...usually in the afternoon...I feel feverish with slight chills...sometimes it's later in the early evening. I take a couple of Tylenol and I feel better. Does anyone else have this? I also have some hot flashes...worse at night...but sometimes during the day. Of course, I'm on Lupron and I take Xtandi as well. This "Chill thing" seems like it's been with me since my diagnosis of Prostate Cancer.. before I even started Radiation 4+ years ago. My doctor says it has nothing to do with cancer, but I'm a little suspicious.

** my fever normally runs 97 ish...97.5...97.3....so even when I am feeling these chills I don't usually have a "traditional" fever...it might go to 98.0 or 98.6 even...but not higher. Just curious.

Thanks ~~John

p.s. pic of my finally filled in goatee (after chemo). The beard is NOT coming back it seems. Not that this matters, but I have tried to document changes for myself.

Hey John… I also ran a temperature for a couple weeks off and on … It seems as though I have prostate stones that might be causing an infection… Have them check for white blood cells in your urine . A round of amoxicillin should take care of it . By the way I purchased a small clip on fan I have next to the bed and it has been wonderful or “power surges“.

Greatjohn... I experience the same thing on and off along with hot flashes. I think it's the lupron. Nasty stuff. My beard never came back post chemo. Same as you...just my goatee. Eyebrows and eyelashes as well. Very thin. Doc says it's due to lack of testosterone...no androgen to tell them to grow again.

Thanks....hopefully I'll keep the goatee for a while.

Have a great night.

You don't have a fever John. It just feels like it. We're all going thru the same more or less. I won't even get started on my side effects with all of the drugs I consume on a daily bases and of course that ever comes sooner Lupron shot. I tried to also grow a goatee. It looked like crap so I shaved it. My brown hair came back after Chemo looking like a dirty ashtray. It sucks. We'll never be the same. But keep growing that beard. You look a lot better then I did.

yup...when I was talking about the fatigue at the doctor today...my partner says his fatigue is moderate....and I said...what you "see" is moderate...what I feel in SEVERE. I keep on keeping on ! ! !

Thanks.

John.

P.S. the oncologist thinks I should probably cut back to 3 Xtandi instead of 4 ....like so many people do on here. It's amazing how much better people say they are on 3 (or even 2)

Yep. Xtandi 2 pills for 3 days, 3 pills for 1 day. Averages at 90 mg. Got rid of chills and knives in my belly and got back to a normal life. (New normal). Hair coming back fine, thin and soft as a kitten. Nice rough of beard around jaw, no mustache, side burns, eye brows, under arm hair, etc. but my feet don't stink and old goat smell gone. No hormones=no stink.
