My baseline normal white count dropped to 2000 (total) 8 days after first docetaxel infusion. No surprise there. Is it worse with later doses?

John, I would hope from this point they would put you on nuelasta to keep your white counts up, before they crash and you have real problems

That is probably the nadir this time. Is it worse with subsequent doses?

In my experience, when it is going down, it gets lower in subsequent treatments, I have known men who went into septic shock with basically a wbc of 0, spent time in intensive care, This can be prevented with nuelasta, which is no problem really.Good luck with your treatment.

Good Friday Morning john205,

I left each infusion of Docetaxel/Carboplatin with On Body Injector of Neulasta on right upperarm, which automatically injected me 27 hours after placement.

Best wishes. Never Give In.

Mark, Atlanta
