Article on Gerson Therapy, I know very controversial. I have not embraced this, not sure I could maintain the discipline. Thought worth posting

I have seen very little interest in Gerson this past 14 years. In my view, it has virtually no credibility.

But here is more info on the therapy & Gerson himself:

Gerson therapy is a demanding regime. While there isn't much evidence either way, there is growing evidence that the placebo effect helps many patients heal, and the placebo effect is strongest in those who believe the therapy will help them. Anyone sticking with Gerson for any length of time must be highly motivated, suggesting that they believe in the therapy.

Demanding on your wallet, I would imagine.

Not really. Lots of juicing, but veggies aren't super expensive. Lots of coffee enemas. The main cost is time. Time to prepare all the juices, time for the enemas.

I was thinking of the expense of traveling to, and checking into one of these clinics for however long a stay.

Most people do Gerson at home. The clinics aren't cheap, but can be useful in establishing the routine and teaching good nutrition and lifestyle. I know at least a dozen men who've used Gerson therapy, none of them went to a clinic for it.

I thought it was an interesting article. It sounds like this fellow used Gerson Therapy as part of an Integrative routine. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure about the Gerson Therapy but a Hawaiian retreat alone would likely add years to my life.
