Is there anyone out there with stable post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels?

Is there anyone out there that knows or has known someone with stable post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels?

Or are post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels always an indication of eventual prostate cancer recurrence?

If post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels are sometimes harmless I should be able to find someone that has safely traveled this path.

Many speak that low post-radical prostatectomy non zero ultrasensitive PSA levels are often harmless yet I have yet to discover a factual basis for this opinion.

My understanding from discussions with oncologists is yes, you can easily have indolent microscopic cells left behind from RP, and there is nothing to do but monitor. In my case there was no concern until I started going over 0.1 and headed towards 0.2 which is the traditional (though I understand arbitrary), reading considered biochemical failure. Such will also depend on your Gleason score, surgical margins, etc.

OK. I had a radical in Oct 2000. Almost died several times... not gonna talk about that. My PSA was 0.29 5 months ago Had the PSA redone last week... got the results today... 0.27. I should not be here but I am. I don't take any meds or hormones. We just try real hard to eat well & take my vitamins. Vitamin D is the Miracle 6000 iu PER DAY

Well, sort of. My last four PSAs have been 0.07, 0.07, 0.08, 0.08 , but I was on Eligard.

I am currently on an HT vacation.

But, the last time I was on vacation my PSA rose dramatically about 6-8 months of no HT. It went from undetectable to 0.18, 0.18, 0.30, 0.71 in four months.

So, some with PSA levels have indolent cells left, others have a bit more aggressive cells left.
