All blood tests and scans done. All but PCP out of the way. Good Showing except for partially collapsed lungs on one MRI. Deep breathing exercises with inspiration machine cleared that problem. Blood tests at VA and Oncologist best ever. PSA Down again on just Xtandi lower dose (120 mg from 160 mg.). No new mets. three of 5 old mets dead. Remaining two much less active. VA and Oncologist say I am officially in remission with PSA of 0.118 . Still weak and on Phys. Ther. to get strength back. Looks like I'll make it for a while now.. Sure beats the 12-18mo prognosis I was given 14 months ago!!. May get to enjoy repairs done by Dr's this last month for the next ten years as was my plan when opting for the surgeries. Back to work on July 1st. Hope all you new comers have as good a luck with all your treatments as I have. It's been a real uphill battle for a year +.

Thank you so much. From following your posts this last year, I know what you've been through. I am thrilled to see you here still helping those left here, especially me.
Oh yes, I am definitely going to stay on here. After having accompanied my husband on his long journey with prostate cancer, it is my sincere wish to share what I and we have learned during those years in the hope that it may help some of you on your journey.
Thanks greatjohn. PSA holding at 0.122 for last 6 mo. and drs say I'm in remission. 12 mo scans and testing last week of this month, hoping for a stable bunch of tests.
