50 yo male 11/2016 PSA 4.6, 5/2017 PSA 5.4, 8/2017 Biopsy Cancer detected Gleason 7(3+4). Elected to do RP 10/2017. The following is result of surgery and pathology:
adenocarcinoma of the prostate. He has very high risk
prostate cancer, pT3aN0 cM0, Gleason 4+5=9, iPSA 5.34, status post R1 unilateral nerve-sparing RRP and bilateral PLND 10/19/17 revealing bilateral gland involvement, 3.1 cm largest tumor, left lateral EPE, multiple positive margins, positive LVI, no PNI, no lymph node involvement. AJCC 8th edition Stage IIIC. Total AUA Score: - 2, Bother Score: - 2, Shim Score: - 5. After RP procedure PSA <0.01.
3/2018 Began Zytiga/Prednisone/Lupron
I have just finished adjuvant
IG-IMRT to the prostate/SV bed 72 Gy in 40 fractions. Currently my PSA is at <0.008 and holding steady. Will be on Zytiga/Prednisone/Lupron until 3/2020.
Currently things seem to be working in my favor and hope to live a long disease free life. Crossing fingers!
