Did my second Chemo treatment and all is well just minor side effects that aren't worth mentioning ( so happy for that so far) and the best part, although not down enough is my PSA went form 1790 to 21.5 in 6 weeks as stated not were it needs to be but looks like a good response to treatment so far. also just wanted to say again what a great site this is, so much info and support, haven't seen that face for 30+ years, enjoy the day the best you can everyone .

So happy for you. Cheers! Every bit of good news gives me hope. Keep it coming. And to those who have not so good news let's be happy for those who do.
Great news! You are having a very good response to the chemo, and if you are doing it with no major side effects, more power to you! Keep it up, and keep us posted. Have a great day!
Thank you all for the support, support is one side effect I am happy and amazed at, I have been kind of a loner all my life just close family mostly, sure I know lots of people but don’t hang with to many but dam they are coming out of the wood work to help and support me in this fight just as all of you total strangers are helping me and each other, just unbelievable the kindness and caring that is in this screwed up world. And to top off the day today my son is taking me to Las Vegas today to go to the monster energy super cross champion race tonight, so today screw this cancer crap I’m going to enjoy this day like there is no tomorrow and I wish the best for all of you, cherish every moment gentlemen
Helll yes! Ride this wave. Once accepting APC amazing compassion and good people do exist in this world. You are blessed with a good outlook on all of this.. It is the time that priorities come into focus. Appreciation you have for living.. That’s 9/10 th of the battle., accepting and living without looking back. I’m learning this still. You can be a great success story. GREAT NEWS THANKS!!!! Go super cross!
My PSA at dx was 960. With ADT it quickly dropped to 7.4, and 6 months later, at end of 6 rounds of docetaxel, it is still dropping slowly, now 1.8. A recent post said that over 6 months to nadir was good, increasing OS time. So 21.5 is fine. Over years of testing, my PSA has never been the <<1 that some here report, I just dont let it worry me.
Looks like you did well with your treatment I’m anticipating good results with the rest of my treatment, and I’ll go on living for a little longer until the next adventure?
Wondering if you are newly diagnosed ? As my husband is going to have his second round of chemo next week but he is castrate resistant after xtandi and abiraterone
Are you taking prednisone throughout your chemo ? Or dexamethasone
Great. You may know this already however, use 'ice-boots', 'ice-mittens' and suck on ice cubes during infusions. I just finished my tenth Docetaxel two days ago and managed to keep both taste-bud damage and peripheral neuropathy at bay. Best of luck with your treatment.
