I am so happy to tell you that Paul was able to leave the hospital today. The bloods have improved further, even all the liver markers have gone down again, and the physiotherapist was very happy with his balance and going up stairs. The shortness of breath is almost gone. Of course he has to be very, very careful not to overdo it, but we all thought that he would from now on recover better at home. He is so happy to be at home again. I am also very happy that he is back home, still a little hard to believe and I am still a little nervous that his lung might not work as well as we think... But he seems to be improving. Next week he has to go into St. Luke's again to get his bloods checked and to determine if and when Chemo can be continued.
Best wishes to everyone!
Mel and Paul.

I am happy for you both... today is a good day....
Wonderful news! There’s no place like home (hmmmm. Sounds like a good movie line. Now where are those ruby slippers?). I’m sure that just being back home will work wonders for Paul’s outlook and recovery. God is great, life is good, and we are all blessed. Have a great day!
Welcome home PAUL, continue to fight. Melanie keep him busy, outside as much as possible walker, car ride whatever, the stimuli will help him feel better and get better.
