Does Xtandi effect kidney function?

Dx 1996, under went RT, HT, RT, now on Xtandi. PSA 0.017

Well, it's making my urine very yellow. PSA 0.132. and dropping 8 cycles into Taxotere, lupron, prednosone.

I have kidney disease and ADT drugs, I drink at least 10 8 oz glasses of liquid, mostly water a day. My kidney stats are holding their own.

For whatever it is worth, my nephrologist scoffs at the idea of drinking water as helping reduce the load on your kidneys. As if it is an old wives tale. And he is the department head at a teaching hospital.

I have trouble believing him. But he must know what he is talking about.
