If this is not allowed on here please remove it ASAP I sincerely apologize and do not mean to harm anyone. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone and if I respond if I'll be arrested. I was ordering my son's medicine but he did not need anymore so then I started ordering my feral Kitty cats antibiotics..... And this is the letter I received in the mail. I ordered them from India.
Thanks either way. Elgie says ....it would figure it would happen to me. I'm always so legal about things lol.
Thank you either way and Again I apologize for the inconvenience. I just don't know what to do. This may help someone if its happened to anyone else getting meds out of the country for prostate reasons.
Most sincere,
Jackie

I think it may be for the best. Ordering drugs by mail from a third world country. You have no idea what they shipped other than it is most likely counterfeit.
They have no incentive to ship you anything other than counterfeit drugs.
Thank you cesanon. I haven't had a pregnant kitty in 5 years of using their birth control and the kitties get better on their antibiotics. I guess it's a loss. Thanks again.
Lol.... my feral kitty colony. I purchase birth control for them because I'm too old to capture them. They Also Get Upper Respiratory infections. Just put it into their wet food and voila. No Babies. Antibiotics Works Well For their illnesses.
Thanks so much Blair. I'm A Foster failure. I have 6 at home. Elgie won't have anymore here or they'd all be home with me lol. I sure hope you're all correct. I don't answer the door anyway lol. I can just see the Gazette......lol.
I hope you're doing week and feeling well Blair.
I'm probably going to have some unsuspecting family member order them. Ha Ha Ha Just Kidding.
Awwwww that is so great that you feel better each day..... that just makes my week happier....... and.... that I'm not not going to get arrested ;))) Every second is a blessing Nal. Enjoy all of it 💖
Thanks so much,
Jackie
Federal regulations.. I’d bet they only can look for big shipments. Some chance or bad luck maybe from the senders end. It’s a fluck .They won’t prosecute such a small amount . Non narcotics. Its the chance once anything is in the mail...
I agree with your analysis..of the FDA . New Secretary of State ex exec of Ely Lilly, I’m sure they’ll,crack down on anything that threatens the bottom line of big pharma.

The biggest "crime" is taking money away from the Big Pharma drug lords.
I’m not a lawyer or a doctor , but I did stay at holiday Inn express last night. I seriously think that these agencies have more on their plate than prosecuting a citizen for trying to save money on a small batch of doggie anti -biotics.

I’m sorry Kitty anti-biotics.. Thank You Darryl , for providing us this helpful site.
It sucks losing some money. That’ll be it. I wouldn’t order from that source again or in your name or to that same address . Especially the USPS . I’d say you have more important things on your plate.. Take care....
It is a real crapshoot when getting drugs from overseas. You do not know what it actually is. I do not think you are in trouble as thousands of people do that. But if you do, I will be a character witness for you.
In my view you should respond by explaining the situation & asking that the shipment be released.
I have a related story:
In 2004, I was using androstenedione to boost testosterone as part of my PCa strategy. In 2005, this otc hormone became a banned substance. I had a stash, & I could technically have been arrested, since possession was a felony.
In contrast, men who were obtaining testosterone from Mexico, but having shipments held up by U.S. Customs, could explain that the T was for private use, & Customs would then allow the shipment through. Possession of personal T without a script is not a felony.
I expect that the same applies regarding the antibiotics. Be polite, but firm, & let me know what happens. I am not a lawyer, etc, LOL.
Thank You For That true Story. I think I will try. There Is Nothing Firm About Me lol. An Old Angel Friend... Rip...Always lovingly Called Me A Candy Ass lol. I think i can try to be firm in an email LOL. Send A Cake to the slammer if ya don't hear from me ;))
I agree Patrick. Although personally it wouldn’t be worth the time or hassle messing with the Man unless it was a lot of money , if that was the case then you most assuredly wouldn’t get it back . I’d Get it from another source. Cut your loses..
A couple of years ago I read that no patient has ever been arrested for buying drugs abroad. The government has no desire to put a cancer patient on trial in front of a jury and try to tell the jurors that this patient committed a crime and needs to be punished for it. As far as I know, Nal is right that you are not going to get arrested and you are completely in the clear.
I suggest forwarding the image to the seller and explaining that the drugs didn't arrive. Ask them to refund your payment (or resend by another route.) They've faced this before and will know what to do.
As far as buying drugs from India goes, I have read that it's pretty safe. India is a world leader in drug manufacturing (though not in research and development) and it wouldn't surprise me if some of the drug companies buy their pills in India and sell them here for huge profits. I have read, though I can't cite a source, that more counterfeit drugs have been found with American labels on them than Indian or Canadian labels. If a small pharmacy goes to a wholesale supplier to buy American branded drugs, there is a possibility that what they'll get are counterfeits that are made to look just like American drugs. That makes sense if you consider that the profit margin on drugs with American packaging is much higher than with Indian packaging.
Alan , Years ago an add on Cramer’s “fast money” serious radio show touted generic viagra.. I didn’t have E D but I used it recreationally as a die hard life long bachelor on occasion. I think it was $3 per pill compared to at least I5 otherwise ..ended up giving most to my friends as gifts because viagra gave me a headache. Potency and the effect exact as the costly U S version. Are viagra and other ED meds bad for APC patents? Thank you .
I have tried generic Levitra from India and found it to be just what I expected. Funny feelings in the head that might rise to the level of headache in some patients seem to be a problem with all of the Viagra like drugs. If you want to try them again, try cutting the pills in half or even smaller.
As to whether they are safe, I know that they are frequently prescribed for PCA patients. I've had both a urologist and a radiation oncologist prescribe them for me, knowing that I had been treated for prostate cancer. As far as I know, they don't pose any special risk for patients with prostate cancer.
I received a letter from you regarding my mail shipment of Doxycyline Tablets being Detained at the post office. I am requesting that you release this detainment. I am one person trying to help my feral colony of feline cats. I ordered these to help the cats when they become sick and birth control to prevent unnecessary births . It is very important and I respectfully ask that you dismiss this detainment so I may care for the felines in the feral cat colony.

Let's hope she has some compassion ;)) I'll keep ya posted. Thanks so much everyone!
It stinks that this happens. I know of an individual confined to a wheelchair due to the effects of MS. Her Neurologist was offended when she asked for a script to Low Dose Naltrexone, as you may now is about one-tenth the dosage of an old off patent drug used to block the effects of opiods so an addict can't get high. She imported from Europe and although it couldn't repair damage done to her nerves, it seemed to arrest further progression resulting in a remission.
This happened to her and she wasn't arrested or anything. Someone opined to her that the average MS patient using biologics is worth around $120,000 income/year to a big pharma corp so they begin lobbying the FDA to make siezures to "protect" the MS patients from a 50 year old FDA approved drug taken at 1/10th the FDA approved daily dose.
Y'all can flame away for this statement, but seems to me the FDA is more about protecting profits than patients, in far to many instances.
Protecting the money inetests of Big Pharma, that's why the US government tries to block drug imports from other countries, Canada in particular.
I thought it was kind of funny when I heard someone speaking right after hurricane Harvey went through Texas. He was talking about the people who were price gouging, selling bottles of water for $99 for a case and $20 a gallon for gas. These people would be prosecuted for taking advantage of others in this kind of situation.
It's really rediculous because that's exactly what the big drug companies are doing in the US on a much bigger scale. Apparently that kind of price gouging is perfectly OK.
Exactly, time after time the FDA puts corporate profits over people. Other examples: One is look how many years it took the FDA to ban Trans Fatty Acids in our food after the science was in and the EU had banned them. Whom was the FDA protecting by this delay of many years?
Second, my doctor recently would not prescribe me an antibiotic until I have been sick for ten days due to the problem of antibiotic resistence and some new guidelines. Yet, the FDA still refuses to take action on the pounds of antibiotics dumped into the feeds of feeder cattle and other livestock, after DECADES of warnings. The FDA is more concerned with big ag and big pharma there, but fine for me to have to be sick ten days with what was clearly a gunky, bacterial sinus infection I get every few years.
Lastly, I recently returned from Norway. They have banned nitrates from foods due to potential links to gastro, brain and pediatric cancers. Guess what? Their sausages, brats and the like tasted great. Don't expect our FDA to take any such action, ever. Hormel wouldn't like it.
No experience with meds overseas but some from old Mexico, there are a lot of meds that are not allowed to be carried across the boarder, go to the government web site to see what is allowed or not
I've been ordering ED pills made by Cipla in India. My recently dispensed atorvastatin? Made by Cipla ... so I think it is a reputable company. When Pfizer can give a former CEO an $80 million retirement gift and when American companies freely outsource jobs to India, then by golly I'll outsource my ED pill business to India. One shipment was inspected by Homeland Security but they passed it along. It is becoming a moot point -- my T level is getting so low, even on ADT holiday, that blue pills aren't working very well.
I received my reply from the FDA below.... No Prison... Thanks so much "everyone" for all input
As per FDA’s personal importation guidance referenced in the attached letter, the subject product is an unapproved new drug/version of an approved drug available in the United States and is not permitted for importation. In addition, the amount of drug product in the subject entry appears to be for commercial not personal use. Once the subject entry is refused, the package will be returned by the U.S. Post Office to the sender.
Dear everyone in this community. I just joined because I found this thread - hope people can help.
I got the same letter but my question is a bit different because we didn’t order anything. I recognize the name of the medicine because my wife used to take it.
We don’t know who sent this package or why our name/address was used. So that’s a bit worrisome. Should I reply the letter saying that we don’t know what this shipment is?
I don’t really want to deal with the FDA, so should I just leave it?
