I have an awesome Medical Oncology Social Worker who is always there at everyone of my doctor appointments! She is kind, caring efficient at her job! We talk every month on the phone. I have had the pleasure of having her for support for over 2 years now! She gives me a Turkey every year for Thanksgiving! She is just so awesome!

Hah- I have one of those! She’s f@cking awesome. See her every 2 weeks or so. Great support, encouragement and outlet. Plus she’s got me on a good path for self-help!

That sounds awesome. I haven't heard of this before. Wondering how you happened to obtain this person.

In the start of my treatment at the Hospital I was going through other issues with medical problems and was very depressed! The Oncologists sent in my Nurse that has been taking care of me for 2 years! She talked to me that day and I felt a lot better after our talk! This Nurse put me in-touch with the Social Worker and she has been with me ever since! After that I sent this beautiful Nurse some flowers! When I saw her again she came out to the waiting room to gave me the nicest hug I ever got!! Keep in mind that this is the second time around going through my 2 injections I get every 4 months! I get Eligard 30 mgs and Xgeva 120mg shot!
