Diagnosis 2017 02 14, Gleason 9.5, PSA 160. Now doing Lupton 3 x/y. PSA 2.4. 82 years and counting.

Just intrested in what others are doing to cope.

This disease is a sniper; existing in stealth and strikes without warning.

The diagnosis came as a result of a ER visit after tumbling down two flights of stairs.

It started as "we will dress this, stich that...".

Then the radiology report- "here's some oxycotin, rest and go home when you're ready".

The urologist says it's too late for stopping the disease, but the Lupton is slowing the progression.

Live right, live long.

Sorry, that's Lupron- not the tea.

The auto spell jumps to a default word every time

F what the urologist says! Must get a prostate cancer specialist to find right path. Urologist are just plumbers. They’re not the experts.

After RP, my PSA went up. Got on Lupron and a month later Taxotere to hit it from both directions...

compared to you, I'm just a kid...67. but now only 11mo. from first symptoms of ED. Looking forward to going on with life right up past your 82. Stay around and keep up updated on your case... All if us Gleason 9/10 guys are in the select few who have a little bit different view of what Prostate Cancer means..

Yeah, I am 67, a couple of months shy of my 68th birthday. I still don't think that prostate cancer is the thing that will get me. It is providing quite the education, thanks to the postings here on this site.

Yep! Learned more about the endocrine system after 80 than I ever knew.

Good luck zooming past 82, but now I'm in a race with you.

Hope you double my age.

Hi chase

By the look of things you have handled it well. Just be vigilant and good luck.

It is the enemy within. A steel hearted advasary for sure. Coping for me has to do with being grateful that I’m alive and not doing worse than I am. We are all on a journey with the same best. Enjoy these holidays!
