pain right side in the middle of shoulder blade?
I had the same problem about 8 weeks ago, as I've already got a met in a nearby rib, I was a bit concerned. Turned out it was just a muscle spasm, doctor felt muscle, and compared to the other side was hard s a rock. Treated with pain killers and rest, went after about 2 weeks.
Quite worried at the time, who wouldn't be when you've got stage 4 PCa?
Yes Timmy tv,hopefully get to the bottom of it soon?living with recurrence cancer doesn't help things either 🙏👍
My husband Mike had similar problem- scared to death - scan showed degenerative area not cancer - hopefully it will be the same for you- we're always scared & think the worst too
All good answers here. With advanced cancer we all tend to blame every ache and pain on it, and it is wise to check it out with a scan. But I can also confirm that normal age or exercise related pains keep happening. I'm 72 and some months after radiation on my lower spine I began to get severe back pain near the site. The key question the docs asked was whether the pain was constant or whether it would come and go. Tough question for me since I was in agony just trying to turn over in bed, but I did realize that with the right back support I felt better. Scan of the area revealed no new growth, so the next stop was physical therapy where a month of core exercises took care of my age-related back pain. Hope your story turns out well. You did paint your house, after all: really could be muscle pain. Let us know what the scan reveals.
Very true!
Thanks Nalakrats was painting for couple days hoping it's a sprang muscle having bone scan this Friday mate fingers crossed 👌🤞
Although I've lost the majority of my muscle,I have pains in the tiny cables that are left in their place .. after any type of Manuel labor like climbing ladders ,lifting and bending I will need a week to recover from the muscle & join pains..I point directly to our friend APC. TAI CHI ,GEE GONG YOGA, EXERCISE & nutrition are the only relief. At times hard to find energy to do much of anything..Before APC it was hard for most people to keep up with me.The onocologist know that almost all of our aches ,pains, and bad symptoms are side effects of APC & its treatments.. Pray that your pain is nothing serious..If it is you will have to deal with it .But if it's not, and hopefully so , the stress you put into worry is negative to your system. How do I know? Because I do the same thing sometimes...Start worrying about what "COULD" happen and we're thru...Unfortunately muscle and other pain come with purchase of ticket on this APC train.. what a ride..Massage,accupunture, heat , there is even a "Noni " heat rub that's temp relief for muscle pain..
Yes your right lulu700😉I guess with recurrence cancer one tends to lean on any pain being Cancer related 😂rather then old age😃having a bone scan on the 7th July to be in the safe side🤞
Hope you find relief soon!
