Anyone have a favorite recorded talk on the web?
(May I suggest a pretty good one: the Khan Academy set on the Immune System.)

Hi Martin,
Thank you very much for giving this priceless opportunity to those who are interested in learning about the Human Anatomy and Physiology - made simple to understand by the video presentations. In a way, its a shame that we know very little about our own body and try to learn more about Mars and Jupiter and how the rocket engines work!
The lessons are well organized and cover all aspects - I checked a few at random, quite simple and really good.
Starting with the "Circulatory System" I have decided to spend half an hour every day to attend the Khanacademy for my lessons until I cover the entire range. One may also select at random any topic he is particularly interested in depending on his requirement.
Wait and see Martin, before long you will be talking to a highly medically oriented guy instead of a simple chap!
By the way, I sent a detailed reply to a brief question by you and I am not quite sure whether you have seen it.
Best regards,
Sisira
I have not seen it.
Hi@martingugino,
There was a post by DavidT-55 on "Advance prostate cancer" 3 or 4 days ago. I posted a reply for this and below my reply you had asked the question whether I still live in Sri Lanka etc. If you check there you will find my reply to your question.
I am still new to this site and do not know how to pick up a particular name out of many in the group and send my reply only to be read by him or share among a selected few.
Regards.
Sisira
oh. sorry yes i did see that.
I haven't heard of a way to communicate to 1 or a few people. If there is 1, I'd like to know.
? email, google docs, many others
here is a shared spreadsheet - bit.ly/2dyvJH8
Sisira was asking for a way to do it on this site. You could put your email address or phone # in a post & ask a specific person to contact you, but you'd be giving your personal info to everyone. But again, Sisira is wondering if this site offers the option of communicating with 1 or a few people, & I was just saying not that I know of.
Ah, yes. LIke an @ or something.
FYI - Malecare publishes a number of my pod casts about prostate cancer which I have produced. They include interviews with experts in the field as well as personal conversations I have created about dealing with the cancer diagnosis, hormone therapy, penile implants etc.
I am adding to this library on a regular basis. Currently there are 15 different pod casts with more to come.
They are available through iTunes or by going to:
itunes.apple.com/us/podcast...
I was not able to see them without installing iTunes
Martin
My JimJimJimJim YouTube channel has a number of videos on advanced prostate cancer at
youtube.com/channel/UCfAAwf...
The videos aim to help you understand your disease, your treatment, and the journey of others with the aim of developing a peace of mind that lets you get on with your life.
Some videos will be of interest to men with non-advanced prostate cancer.
A couple of videos will be of interest to anyone contemplating attending any large conference.
Cheers
Jim

Great indeed. My second.
I was the Australian guy on the little silver mobility scooter. I got called up on stage to get Mark Moyad challenge winner T-shirt.
