Here's a funny...... My Sarcoidosis Clinic at Johns Hopkins called to schedule me a video appointment for my bronchial infection....but the stipulation was that I get in my car and drive 20 minutes to Maryland for the video appointment. They said they can't cross state lines. I'm wondering what the whole hospital does for people coming from far away states that are sick and need appointments because they're only accepting video appointments. Do any of you think they can tell on the phone if I stay in my car at home? Are any of you dealing with this too?

LOL. They can probably tell from the cell phone tower if they bother to check - but I would be very surprised if they didn't just take your word for it.

You forgot to mention that there's an exception. You would be able to watch it anywhere on a Dumont black and white rabbit ear antenna set but only if it had a magnifying glass mounted in front of the screen and the set was the size of half a living room . Also you must have a thick black wired electric copper horse/clock sitting on top of the TV.
I got another call from Hopkins making sure I would be video calling from Maryland instead of Pennsylvania. Lucky you... but a 20 minute drive will be okay... so I don't have to pay for an expensive appointment..... just in case..
That's interesting as they told me that in-state info could be ignored. Probably different interpretations by different personnel. Of course, they have no way of really knowing even if they looked at your ISP location as that could be some distance from where you lived actually.
But, yes agreed that driving 20 minutes is a lot better than driving to Baltimore especially if they asked you to confirm you will be in MD.
I just got off of the phone from yet another Hopkins call. They said they were thinking...... that I would get a $5000. fine if pulled over in Maryland during my video appointment and it was okay now to call from home. At least.....they were thinking.....I.......was only thinking......I need this appointment! So home will be my video appointment..... for now lol.
They said everyone's helping everyone and they're all scrambling everywhere to work together to get things done. May God/ The Universe or Whomever..... bless each and Every One!
ditto. We are in Costa Rica. Also have a home in TN. They told us the same. Have an appt Feb 23. They require me to travel to Baltimore and incur all the travel expenses.
