None that I have seen.

It's probably for the best, for the purposes of this site, since downloading files from the Internet always carries a risk of downloading malware, as well.

Also, IT security experts recommended only sharing files with and from people that you know and trust.

[Sorry...its habitual for me to bring this up. It's my knee-jerk reaction to start with those precautions, after more than a dozen years of having it drilled into me.]

That being said, there are lots of ways to share files.

One of the easiest ways is to save the document to some sort of cloud storage, then sharing a link to it.

• e g. Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, Amazon Web Services storage

(You can share links in chat, after all.)

I would recommend that the content of any files you share a link to in the open forum ought to abide by the forum rules for content and conduct.

This site also allows for private chat between members, so depending on the situation, that might be a good option for sharing. Such as, if you don't want your cloud storage account to be discoverable across the whole World Wide Web.
