I want to look around for a psychiatrist to prescribe treatment if I'm diagnosed with ADHD next week. Im seeing one now, but she's a resident in a psych program, and I want to have other options. I'd feel more comfortable getting a prescription from someone with a bit more experience. Please share your tips on finding a good doctor, thanks.

Hi and thank you LisethHIS . I am confused by the directort as I can't figure out how to narrow it down. I enter in things such as my state (Texas) and psychiatrist, it still shows every type of listing. What am I doing wrong? Sending me pictures will help alot. Thank you.
I do apologize for the inconvenience. I went ahead and did the research myself and didn't find a psychiatrist in our directory for Texas, but he are some other sites that can probably help you. psychologytoday.com/us/ther... and finder.psychiatry.org/?_ga=... if you are unable to find someone, we would recommend contacting your insurance to get a list of medical providers.
