concerta dosage being upped

Been on 36mg concerta xl (the slow release kind) for a good while now and have moved up to 54mg on Tuesday. Since then I am noticing more anxiety and a change in mood - only slightly but not much else yet - my question is. How long did it take for everyone or how long is it supposed to take before you sort of hit that plateau or ‘steady baseline’ with the newer upped dose? I forgot to ask my specialist and it’s difficult to just call and speak to them over the phone and my normal GP can’t really answer this question either.

short & sweet answers would help as well… ADHD and I’m struggling with reading a lot. Hypocritical given the long post I know, sorry and thanks in advance all 🧡

Perhaps the upped dosage is not right. Had similar happen to me, been on the 54 for almost month now. I don’t feel much a difference from the 36. But few years ago I was on the 54 for many years before going down to 36 for other health issues. Might be that you stay on 36 and you have option of short release pills to bolster throughout day if needed.

I was told by my partner that it took a couple weeks before his headaches went away.he did adjust his diet and drink more water though.
