I am diagnosed ADHD combined & Bipolar I disorder.

My partner and I are trying to get pregnant. For 8+ months I've been working with reproductive psychiatrist to make sure all meds are within therapeutic range.

I'm very worried about having to reduce or cease medication while trying and due to my age (38) it may take a while to conceive......at least that's my assumption. I worry that hormonal shifts will exacerbate my symptoms for both

co-morbid disorders during pregnancy and postpartum.

And finally I'm incredibly worried whether my emotional dysregulation will be able to handle a miscarriage. The thought alone makes me feel like I'm drowning.
