I am 50 years old, self-employed, in recovery for alcoholism (6 years sober) and ADHD. I'm just now finally recognizing how my ADHD is affecting my entire life. My career in particular. I've been wanting to transition my work for several years with little success as I become easily overwhelmed and shut down. I recently started working with a private business coach that specializes in ADHD. She's been fantastic but I can't afford to stay with her at this time. The thing I need most is an accountability partner and someone to talk me off the ledge when I'm overwhelmed. I'm hoping this community can provide that for me.

Hi Kari
Welcome to your tribe.
For me, support groups (virtual) have been very helpful, but others may need different levels and types of help, including one on one coaching, psychiatrists or buddies. Hopefully you will find what you need to make progress against your ADHD.
