Adhd and boredom
I have read that it can be common for people with ADHD to experience boredom. I don't get bored very often. My brain just doesn't seem to stop finding things to think about.
I refer to myself as being "naturally introverted", and I've said many times that "the world inside my head is more real than the world around me." So, with so much activity between my ears, it's hard for me to become bored at any time. It happens sometimes, though, and when it does, I don't know what to do with myself.
My kids, however, do get bored easily, if they're not actively engaged in watching or doing something.
Obviously it depends on the individual but if I'm bored to desperation point I force myself to leave the house and walk somewhere lively so the scenery around me changes and my brain finds something to latch on to. If it doesn't I keep walking til I'm tired out by which time I've made some endorphins that kill the boredom. If I don't feel like walking I take a shower and put some decent clothes on. Then I usually feel more active.Otherwise you can - and being with others is important for us social creatures - create opportunities to meet people, do proper exercise, Netflix or various forums like this one or whatever interests you. Or work or volunteering. Those are things I can think of off the top of my head. Perhaps start by making a list of things that interest you or have interested you in the past; or think back to situations when you were not bored in the slightest, happy, entertained and recreate those.
