Hi, I am truly suffering from all adhd symptoms and I can’t get a doctor to treat me for it. They put me on so many different kinds that help. Any advice about this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi McKinney,

Can you clarify what your doctor is doing to help you? I'm not sure I understand that part of your post correctly.

Hi McKinney78, I am a 70-year-old disabled veteran with a diagnosis of ADHD, In the past, I was given stimulants that helped normalize my life. Now, those meds are no longer available to me. I am a type 2 diabetic, I have essential hypertension and my arteries are hardening due to my age. I feel like someone with a disease that is slowly taking over my body except it is my mental capacities that seem to be diminishing and being replaced with ADHD symptoms. In response to his refusal to provide me with stimulants, I asked my psychiatrist to refer me to an ADHD coach in hopes that I will find a strategy to replace my meds at least to some degree. Now I am waiting to get a referral. Hope this helps Chris
