Does anyone here have a Thyroid problem and ADHD and take meds for both?

Started experiencing Thyroid issues earlier this week and want to know what my options would be if it turns out that I have both.

Hi again, yes. I have hashimotos and ADHD. Sounds like you have got a lot of qs. I remember being where you are with it all. your options depend on if your thyroid is over or underactive. are you in the uk?

Yes, I do. I just know that Doctors do not have all the time in the world to go over every aspect of or possible outcome when it comes to things like these. So, I've been trying to do a lot of my own research to help me better understand. I have a couple appointments coming up soon and want to be semi prepared to hopefully understand my doctor better instead of feeling ignorant to anything they are telling me.

I am not in the uk.

Hi from Switzerland!

I have hypothyroidism amd ADHD.. I take conccerta for ADHD and eltroxin for thyroids . Both everyday in the morning

My doctor is very good and he was explaining me that it is very important to meet these hormones at the right level, since when it doesn’t happen there is a strong tendency to depression and everything get complicated with the ADHD... rough and fast explained

My experience is really good with both meds...
