How's COVID affecting everyone's ADHD?

I apologize for having not posted anything for a while. But I've been trying to focus on some things, mostly when it comes to financial stuff and trying to get back into school (both of which fall hand in hand) but as everyone has heard, COVID 19 has been a serious drain on life this year.

Firstly I want to hope everyone here is staying safe and that their mental health is doing well. I missed writing here again because I loved this platform to vent and rank about the shortcomings and treatment often associated with ADHD in my daily life. Not sure if everyone feels the same, but I digress.

COVID hasn't been great for me, I started out this year wanting so many things to happen. Gaining more independence so that it wouldn't feel like such a burden on my ADHD condition, (as in I wouldn't be feeling isolating and trapped) wanted to make friends and learn how to drive, but a lot of the weather conditions combined with COVID put a HUGE halt in progress for any of them which has caused me to be back in the same position I've been for years, and staying home has just made me realize how it all felt being so isolated again and nobody around me truly feeling the point.

Sure some things have changed, like me starting to cook a bit more independently. But I still don't get seen as and treated differently because of my ADHD, not in a horrible manner persay, just more of a misunderstood manner. Having one friend I talk to every week I can't even go see due to limit options of transportation or the COVID situation, feeling isolated and having no one really take me seriously because my condition once again. Anyone else experiencing this as well?

For better or worse, I’m absolutely an introvert. I love being at home, and in many ways, the lockdown and general advisory to stay home has enabled my lifestyle and I’ve fully embraced it.

However... I am also not very well versed socially, lol. I have a hard time being casually social at my job and in new settings, and like an unused muscle, this life skill is starting to become floppy at a lack of flexing. I didn’t notice until I tried socializing again and I felt like I had put my shoes on my hands and gloves on my feet. So in a way I’m starting from scratch since I got my diagnosis right before lock down and while I have meds that work for me, I’m still learning who I am at age 33.
