Strattera

How long has Strattera taken to work for adults on here? I want to try it for my ADHD I am a bit hyperactive wondering if it takes weeks like or few days.

Although I've never taken it, I have several friends/acquaintances that have and here are my thoughts on it.

#1 - Communicate very well with your Mental Health Prescriber and Therapist about negative side effects, and how to identify them and what to do when they appear.

#2 - From what I've been told, the effects were profound and very immediate and although they had a lot of positive things come of it like focus, energy, etc. (read the negatives below)

#3 - Most of them are not currently taking it for reasons like contraindicated for age, and others had suicidal ideations and increased depression/anxiety, and some other negative side effects.

Although I'm not trying to persuade you from trying it, I just want you to be an advocate for yourself and pay closer attention to yourself and communicate with your providers as soon as any of the negative side effects appear.

For me it took around 3-4 weeks before I noticed any differences. I'm not hyperactive, so I can't speak to that.
