So I did my testing for ADD/ADHD last week. I have an appointment on Thursday for the results. One of the test I did made me nuts! Letters popping up on the computer screen, all different places and speeds. I was to use the space bar when I saw the letters, but not an "X"....Lord help me I freaked out. Couldn't not hit the space bar for the "X" if my life depended on it. Geez. So the other part of the test the lady brought out a tape recorder. The kind we had back in elementary school, very archaic, and cards she flipped. This was without noise and then with cafeteria noise (people talking), static, and with the guy reading a book. It was all so very odd. Anyway, I am anxiously waiting to hear if I'm a squirrel or not! lol.

Your test was different then mine. It was at the ADD Clinic in Az. Where did you get your test done?
Taking this test was pretty annoying as well. This was before I was put on medication. Then I get retested with the medication.
That's going to be interesting.
I went for my results today so I now know what tests I was given. Goldman-Fristoe-Woodcock Auditory Selective Attention Test (G-F-W).
Conner's Continuous Performance Test-3
I definitely ADD without hyperactivity. I have both Auditory and Visual distraction issues. Next week I go for the meds. I'm so ready to feel and do better.
