Hi all, above I have attached a picture of a visual supplement chart and reminder I made for my parents just recently. I wanted to share it on here in case anyone needs some visual aid when taking their supplements. The chart includes a majority of what supplements I take along with my supplement schedule throughout the day. Due to the busy life of grad-school I have not been able to focus as much on my ADHD research, but regardless I have still been researching and documenting.
I will be either releasing a video or uploading info on here on the following subject matters:
1. How does ADHD affect your Personality Type (Myers-Briggs)?? A video of all 16 personality types will be uploaded on my Youtube channel shortly.
2. How does Marijuana affect ADHD
- Differences between THC and CBD
- Differences between Sativas & Indicas and how different strains effect the ADHD mind and individual differently. Elaborating on which strains research has shown, benefit people with ADHD the most
3. How a Keto Diet affects ADHD, along with my own anecdotal advice.

Thank you so much! This is very helpful. Love the chart!
I also wanted to ask you about probiotics? Do you recommend taking one? There is one I recently looked into for my son Jarrow formula probiotic gut-brain connection. It has GABA in it too for Mood. Was wondering if you have heard anything good about it.
Hi there, thank you for the kind words. There are multiple types of probiotics, and I personally only consume probiotics that are included in the greek yogurt I consume (company name is Chobani incase you're interested). I consume greek yogurt daily and definitely feel the difference when I do and don't.
Very interesting, I was just talking to someone on my Youtube channel about the correlation between ADHD and issues with the gut-brain connection, going to definitely have to research more into that. I would definitely give it a try, just be on the look out for any negative side effects. Some people are allergic to certain probiotics and some people are allergic to the higher levels of some of these probiotics.
Hi Eclecticentric77,
Interesting stuff. Love the supplement chart. And can I have a link to the YouTube channel?
You know your stuff. And have obviously been studying this for a while. Is it for a research programme or a PHD study? You say ‘Post-grad’ is it specifically about ADHD or a similar field?
Hi there, thanks for the kind words. Look up "wilhelm the esoteric" on youtube and it should be the first channel or so to pop up (putting the link here, breaks the link). My research into ADHD is entirely on my own and has nothing to do with the psych. masters program I am currently finishing up. I will be obtaining my Doctorate/Psy.D in order to become a clinical psychologist to work closer and more specifically with the ADHD community, and then eventually open up my own clinic. I also have a film about ADHD that is being completed and will debut hopefully sometime in 2020.
I have often wondered about supplements really for anything not just ADHD. When do they enter the blood stream? Before or after reaching the gut? And if they reach the gut, what affect does stomach acid have on these supplements. Especially the ones for ADHD and generally for any of them? Any insights?
Great question. Nootropics have certainly become more common in the last few years due to updated research. A great website to look for scientific peer reviewed studies is the website ncbi.com (I do a lot of research from there). A website I think you'd appreciate is nootropicsexpert.com/nootro.... The guy who runs the site has inattentive adhd like myself, and has done a tremendous job providing vast amounts of information on hundreds of different supplements and what they do biologically, physiologically, and psychologically. I have learned quite a bit from that site.
It's a lot of supplements but I'm willing to try anything. I'm pretty tired of dealing with drs. who keep prescribing me ADHD medications that just don't work.
Hello! I just started reading you posts and find them very helpful. Thank you! I was wondering if I can give my 9 year old any of these supplements? He already takes Omega pill and B12 and a pill called mood joy along with his focalin but he is so moody and also feel like he has ODD
Hi there, no prob, I'm glad to hear. I would double check and read the description/reviews, but also know that there are child versions of most of these supplements online as well. I reccomend the supplement L-Theanine for mood issues, since it helps out with Serotonin which deals with mood, and will also relax the body/mind. L-Theanine is the calming agent found in green tea.
Hi, im taking vyvanse with magnesium biglycinate and oxide for muscle pain, is there anything you recommend, (i notice the r alpha thing helps in your picture, would choline help as a substitute? Is the r alpha stuff really affective with prolonged muscle contractions? Ive finally found something the works for me (concerta was the worst), so i really wanna give vyvanse a chance and not go down without putting up a fight!
I highly recommend R-Alpha Lipoic acid. Not only does it help with muscle contractions, but it helps with the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine, which people with ADHD lack. And if you're taking stimulant medication, R-Alpha Lipoic Acid fights off the oxidation from stimulant medication. L-Theanine is a great supplement for also helping the body relax (L-Theanine is the calming agent in green tea)
I would also recommend to take B-12 Methylcobalamin form (it is the form that is most bioactive ). People with ADHD have a gene mutation issue with B-12, and thus, we do not get enough of it, which causes issues with muscle aches/pains. And if you really want to go full circle, I would recommend you take a collagen supplement, this will help with stiff joints/ligaments, if that's something of concern.
